Harrison will succeed Dámaso Rodríguez at the Oregon LORT theatre after serving 17 years as co-founder and artistic director of California’s AlterTheater.
After 9 years at the helm, he’ll leave to take an arts consulting job, also in Portland, and allow for further artistic changes at Artists Rep.
Jarrett’s promotion coincides with additional leadership title changes in anticipation of new executive director J.S. May’s 2023 retirement.
