Theatrical Outfit Names Matt Torney Artistic Director

Carter, the acting chairman since Jane Chu’s departure, is the 12th person to hold the position.
Tracy Snyder and Laura Curthoys join the company as managing director and director of development.
Massimine joined the Salt Lake City company this month.
Melissa Vartanian-Mikaelian will serve as the company’s managing director, and May Adrales and Laura Braza have also been appointed new roles.
A former associate managing director of Berkeley Rep, she joins the team at the Bay Area’s outdoor classical theatre.
The performer, writer, and educator will be the first to take on the role with the company.
After 13 years with the Connecticut org, he’ll finish in July, with Kit Ingui stepping in as acting managing director.
