After 9 years at the helm, he’ll leave to take an arts consulting job, also in Portland, and allow for further artistic changes at Artists Rep.
Ellerson will partner with TCG’s executive leadership team to diversify TCG’s contributed revenue.
Two new associate artistic directors, Scarlett Kim and Mei Ann Teo, join Evren Odcikin in three-person team that will help reimagine the theatre’s repertory, media, and new-works offerings.
Previously a producing director with the theatre, Keen-Louie will assume a newly created role overseeing all productions in the theatre’s subscription season.
She’ll serve as both the head of the University of Connecticut’s Dramatic Arts program and as artistic director of Connecticut Repertory Theatre.
Daniels will join the Folger in October, after leading the Public Theater’s Mobile Unit.
In the role, she will expand the theatre’s artistic scope within Colorado College, as well as increase community engagement.
The four artists will fill yearlong curatorial roles, with the mission to expand PlayGround’s offerings and community reach.
The expanded positions infuse both local and national talent to the theatre, broadening its artistic scope and reach.
