The Lark Names 2020-21 Van Lier New Voices Fellows

This season’s year-long residency has been awarded to Zora Howard and Edison Ventura Mata Diaz.

The playwright will develop a new play with students of Florida’s Hillsborough Community College.

Kirya Traber and Estefanía Fadul will receive financial and administrative support to development new works as part of the residency program.

Adam M. Kassim, Kholoud Sawaf, Blayze Teicher, and Sharifa Yasmin are this year’s virtual fellows.

In a virtual ceremony hosted by the Dramatists Guild Foundation and the Lillys, Wohl was among a number of awards recipients.

Six students will receive $2,000 to support studies in the performing arts and arts management.

The award given by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation will be presented in a virtual ceremony this fall.

As part of his duties, Page will oversee the revival of the Terrence McNally New Play award, which has not been awarded since 2015.

The artists-in-residence will make their way to Massachusetts, while the fellows will work from New York City.

The second cohort, consisting of 15 designers, is dedicated to amplifying the work of Black designers and creative collaborators.
