The 2016 recipients are Joshua Chase Gold and Diane Rodriguez.
Six playwrights will be sponsored to work on plays while onboard long-distance trains.
Maring will be the fifth T. Fellow and will be mentored by Harold Prince, Margo Lion, and others.
Playwrights and choreographers receive cash rewards of $7,000.
More than $1.18 million was awarded to nonprofit organizations to support audience building projects.
Monet Hurst-Mendoza, Emilio Rodriguez, and Zoe Sarnak will take part in the incubator’s first year.
