Cincinnati Shakespeare Announces 9-Show 2020-21 Season

The season includes world premieres, classics, and two stories of Cincinnati’s history.
L M Feldman’s ‘Thrive,’ which is in dialgoue with Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night,’ will tour with the ASC’s production of that classic.
Among the new works will be a play by Vichet Chum and adaptations of ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ and a Chekhov classic.
This season will feature the premiere of Benjamin Benne’s ‘Alma,’ as well as the company’s first production of an August Wilson work.
The Boston company’s fundraiser will celebrate True Colors OUT Youth Theater and kick-off a national tour.
The theatre will commission four works as part of its inaugural class of its new commissioning program.
Crowson succeeds the company’s founding leader, Stan Foote, after 14 years with the company.
The season will include 2 world premieres amid 11 total productions.
A Shakespearean tragedy and a John Cleese comedy highlight the season.
