This week, it’s live from BroadwayCon! Jose was joined by playwrights Jordan E. Cooper and Zora Howard to talk about their career paths, the importance of representation, and the artists who inspire them. Cooper’s Ain’t No Mo at the Public Theater, which imagined an America so racist that every single Black person decides to leave (on Flight 1619), was one of the highlights of 2019. Meanwhile Howard is making her playwriting debut with Stew produced by Page 73, after making her screenwriting debut at Sundance last year with Premature, slated to open in movie theatres in February.
