Next will be Ayad Akhtar’s Disgraced (Feb. 12–26, 2017), in which a dinner party erupts into conversations of identity, race, and marriage.
The season will conclude with Gypsy (March 21–April 9, 2017), with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents. The show follows the early life of burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee and her rise to fame through the vaudeville circuit with an overbearing stage mom.
