“Dana is a win for CMT,” said Miller in a statement. “She comes back to us after six years marketing the tour of Wicked. Dana has the education and strategic smarts with credentials as a performer, director, and most recently as a CMT parent.  After 14 months working together, I’m confident she will carry on the CMT legacy with strength and passion.”

Zell is currently the director of strategy at CMT, where she has served for the past 14 months. Originally from the Bay Area, she worked at Disney Theatrical Productions on productions of Beauty and the Beast, Aida, and The Lion King. She also worked in various marketing positions at Roundabout Theatre Company and Vineyard Theatre, and supported the Broadway national tours of Hairspray and Contact. She also spent seven years representing two national tours of Wicked. She received a BA in communications from the University of California and an MFA in theatre management from Brooklyn College.
