NEW YORK CITY: The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the organization of writers on New York theatre for national and out-of-town publications, has announced the 2023 Outer Critics Circle Awards. The awards honor the 2022-23 Broadway and Off-Broadway season.
An awards ceremony honoring the winners will be held Thursday, May 25 at Lincoln Center’s New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. It will be executive produced by Lauren Yarger.
As previously announced, this is the first season of acting categories without gender specifications. The acting categories have also been expanded to honor Off-Broadway performers separately rather than combining them with actors in Broadway productions.
