NEW YORK CITY: Parity Productions announced the winners of its 2020 Parity Commissions at a virtual ceremony on Oct. 7. This year’s recipients are Jonathan Alexandratos for Turning Krasniqi and Amanda L. Andrei for Black Sky.
Parity awards two commissions annually, one to a woman (cis or trans) and one to a TGNC playwright. The selected playwrights each receive a $2,500 prize and developmental support for their play, including a reading with the Parity team and at least one public reading.
