Bay Area theatre artists and producers Rebecca Novick and Evren Odcikin have been tracking the demographic data of who is being hired—a project Odcikin calls “data-driven and thoughtful troublemaking.”

Rebecca Novick is a director and producer based in the SF Bay Area. She was the founder of Crowded Fire Theater Company and the associate artistic director at California Shakespeare Theater.
Evren Odcikin is a director, adapter, and producer based in San Francisco. He is a founder of Maia Directors, a consulting firm for artists and organizations engaging with stories from the Middle East and beyond.
