Every month, American Theatre wants your input. We post a new cartoon and you, readers, are invited to write a caption to it. This month’s cartoon is above.
The winner will receive a copy of The Humans by Stephen Karam, a 2016 Pulitzer nominee, and published by TCG Books.
Winner and finalists will be notified by e-mail.*
The May Caption Contest is now closed. Please check back on June 8 for the winner and for June's contest.
*Participants cannot win two consecutive contests, but are encouraged to keep competing after that.
Below are the winner and finalists from our April contest.

“One for Hamilton, please!” —Abby Kessman and Rich Wolf**
FINALISTS
“Welcome to the Money Laundering Matinée.” —Dale Stout
“But the producers just agreed to share some of the profit stream with the original cast members. I can afford it now!” —Diane Feldman
**In an unheard of development in AT caption contest land, two readers submitted the exact same entry, and our staff loved it. So congratulations guys, you both get a prize!
