GLOUCESTER, MASS.: Gloucester Stage Company has named Jeff Zinn as its new managing director. Zinn will succeed Jon Wojciechowski, who left the post after one year. Zinn will work alongside the newly appointed artistic director, Robert Walsh.
Zinn is the former producing artistic director of Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre in Cape Cod. As a director, he developed new plays at Ensemble Studio Theatre, the White Barn Theatre, The West Bank Cafe, Theater for the New City, the Circle Repertory Company Lab, the Berkshire Playwrights Lab, and Boston Playwrights Theatre. He is the author of the recently published The Existential Actor: Life and Death, Onstage and Off. Zinn currently holds the post of Visiting Academic Professional of Drama/Theatre at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is also an adjunct professor of Theater Studies at Clark University.
