CHICAGO: The Goodman Theatre has announced the first all-female group of playwrights to be part of its sixth Playwrights Unit. This year’s selected participants are Kristiana Rae Colón, Sandra Delgado, Jenni Lamb, and Calamity West.

The Playwrights Unit offers Chicago playwrights an opportunity to create new work with the support of the Goodman’s artistic team. The playwrights participate in bi-monthly meetings, and will showcase their work through public staged readings in the summer of 2016.
