PHOENIX, ARIZ.: Valley Youth Theatre has announced that Jeremie McCubbin will step in as managing director, beginning Jan. 5, 2015. McCubbin will leave his current job as a founding partner at Pinnacle Law Group. His theatre background includes operating as business manager at the Phoenix Theatre and he is currently vice president of the board at Phoenix Center for the Arts. He replaces Bridget Costello, who served in the position only since last spring.

In addition to his hire, the theatre also welcomed a new director of development, Julia Tilley, on Dec. 1. Tilley was most recently the interim executive director of the San Bernardino County Arts Council in California. Of his new coworkers, producing artistic director Bobb Cooper said in a statement, “By growing our resources, we are ensuring our sustainability.”

Valley Youth Theatre is currently celebrating its 26th anniversary season.
